Meet us in Callicoon Sun 8/2!

An incredible thing has come together during an extremely challenging time. We have managed to open our tasting room in Callicoon during a pandemic! The most surprising thing has been the reaction by the local community and our visitors. The town of Callicoon has become home to many during this time and that has caused them to discover the charms of this area. We have been welcomed and clearly see we have an important place here!

I had wanted all along to have guest chefs take over our kitchen once a month. I feel that bringing fresh ideas to Sullivan County and more specifically Callicoon would be very much appreciated.

Native in Honesdale was the first place my partner Cathy and I “broke” our self quarantine of four months by having dinner at one of their outdoor tables! Since March 6th we had not had a meal outside of our house! It’s seemed unbelievable to us that so much time had passed since we dined out. Well it could not have been a better choice for us! We fell in love with the locally sourced food, their way, and focus on foraged ingredients so well prepared. I asked Caleb, Chef owner and his wife Alex, who runs their business, if they would be our first guest chef pop up, and they said yes!

We are over the moon about this collaboration! We will share photos and details with all of you in the next week. I know it’s going to be amazing and I can’t wait to share it with you!
